SDG 3 ("Good Health and Well-being") aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for everyone at all ages. This global goal encompasses both physical and mental health, focusing on universal access to quality healthcare, reducing preventable deaths and illnesses, and promoting mental health and well-being.
By optimizing South Lake Union Therapy's digital presence, we're amplifying access to specialized mental healthcare for Seattle's tech workforce. Our work helps Julie Wilson, LMHC expand her reach and impact, contributing to SDG 3's mission of promoting mental well-being while strengthening workplace health in one of the city's largest employment sectors. Through improved virtual accessibility, we're helping connect more tech professionals with quality mental healthcare, creating ripple effects that benefit teams, families, and the broader community.
South Lake Union Therapy needed to transform their content-rich website into a more approachable and efficient platform. While Julie's deep expertise and valuable therapeutic insights were well documented, the site's structure and presentation created barriers to engagement. The challenge was to maintain the depth of information while making it more accessible and user-friendly for potential clients seeking mental health support.
We implemented a comprehensive website redesign focused on three key areas: 1. Information Architecture: Restructured content into intuitive, topic-specific sections to guide visitors naturally from initial interest to consultation booking 2. Visual Optimization: Refreshed design elements and resized assets to enhance rather than distract from the content 3. User Experience: Streamlined navigation and improved mobile responsiveness to make mental healthcare information more accessible
The redesign significantly improved South Lake Union Therapy's digital presence and client accessibility: • Enhanced user engagement through clearer information hierarchy • Improved consultation booking process • Stronger SEO performance for better visibility • More professional presentation while maintaining Julie's authentic voice • Streamlined client journey from first visit to booking
